I can't access BBC iPlayer
If you are temporarily living abroad, your foreign internet service provider allocates your computer a foreign IP address which is registered to a country which is outside the UK and so, you will not be able to watch UK TV abroad, but just to be sure, why not give it a try:-
When you try to play a programme, the message that you will see is: Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only. When using a foreign IP address, access to BBC iPlayer is blocked...

The BBC funds the BBC iPlayer service from the TV license fees that we pay which entitles us to watch TV in the UK but, even UK TV license payers aren't able to use the BBC iPlayer service from their holiday home or, whilst travelling abroad on holiday or, on a business trip ?
At the moment, the internet is rife with rumours that the BBC may be ready to change this policy and introduce a system that allows people to access the BBC iPlayer service from other Countries - we will have to wait and see !

The instructions will include your user name and password details to enable you to log onto our VPN server. Shortly before expiry of the one month internet service period, you will be invited to make a further £5 payment to extend the service period for a further month. We have a VPN - virtual private network - server in the UK and when you connect your computer to it, through your own private network tunnel, it doesn't matter where you are in the world, your computer appears to be physically located in the UK.
To connect to our VPN server doesn't cost anything, it's absolutley free ! That's because you use your existing internet connection (wherever you are in the world) to connect to our VPN server in the UK and we can't charge you for that - you are already paying your internet service provider for your existing internet connection. The problem is, you won't be able to do much with a free VPN connection without an internet connection on the UK side.
Most readers will probably have already realised that we are in the business of supplying instant UK internet connections. Prices start from little as £5.00 per month and the minimum contract period is one month.
Do you need to be a computer genius to connect to our VPN server? - No! It takes 5 minutes to set your computer up and 30 seconds to connect to our server. In any event, we provide step by step instructions that explain exactly what you have to do and, if you do experience a problem we also, provide a UK telephone number for 'real person' technical support from 6am - 6pm (UK time)
